140K BMW Stolen At Detroit Auto Show: "

First and foremost…this car is too damned high….lol, I crack me up. Read on.

A BMW, brought into town for the North American International Auto Show and worth $140,000 was stolen from in front of a Detroit hotel. I wonder if anyone checked Kwame Kilpatrick’s pockets……I know I was wrong for that but oh well. And? Anyway, this was one of 19 cars brought into town for execs to use during press week. I don’t know how you hide a 140k BMW but if they don’t hurry up, there gonna have to go door to door to find the parts.

DETROIT, Jan. 13 (UPI) — Detroit Police said a $140,000 BMW brought into town by company executives for the North American International Auto Show was stolen from in front of a hotel.

Investigators said the dark gray 7 Series BMW, which bears New Jersey plates, was one of 19 brought to Detroit for company officials to use during the auto show’s press week, WXYZ-TV, Detroit, reported Thursday.

Police said witnesses reported spotting two people jump into the car and drive away while the vehicles were being loaded onto a carrier in front of the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel for transport back to New Jersey.

Officers said the car is outfitted with BMW Assist, a feature they believe will eventually help them to locate the missing vehicle, WJBK-TV, Detroit, reported.”
